Choosing a descriptive podcast name
A descriptive podcast name does exactly what it says on the tin. Boring, maybe — but easy to find in search, and instantly identifiable to your audience.
Think The Property Podcast or Football Weekly. The name tells you what the show is the second you read it. You might call this the 'boring' option — but as long as your content isn't boring, nobody's going to care.
Descriptive names are immediately identifiable to their target audience. They're also easier to find because they perform better in search.
If you have a clever name you're desperate to use, merge it with a descriptive one. e.g. 'Field of Dreams: The Sleep Therapist's Podcast'.
