A clever or quirky podcast name — built around a pun, in-joke, or sideways angle — can stand out. The risk: nobody knows what your show is about.
Think The Moth, or 99% Invisible. These names are often built around puns, plays on words, or in-jokes from the show's topic. Some make sense once you look deeply enough. Others are pure abstract and offer no hint of the content.
If you already have an audience, a reputation as a good creator, or a marketing budget, an abstract name won't hold you back. Enough people will check the show out anyway.
